About letting go
I heard a story somewhere.
A man found himself in a very difficult position of hanging by his fingers on a side of a cliff. After a few moments, he shouted. “Is there anyone up there? Help me!” He then heard a voice that said: “Yes I am Here.” The man shouted: “Who are you?” The voice replied: “I am God. I will help you. Do exactly as I say.” The man was relieved and said, “OK, will do whatever you say.” God said: “Just let go, you will be safe.” After a short while, the man shouted: “Is there anyone else up there?”
In life, we come to a point where we really need to have some trust to see what happens when we are able to Let Go. We come to the conclusion that how the universe is working is impossible for the human mind to completely understand. How much we think we are living our own lives, the fact is that our lives are being lived, because, when we look back on our lives we see that one important event that leads to other important events was totally unplanned and accidental.
The voice inside says something like: “What a stupid man!” and you would like to tell your friends what the voice says.
Can you let go? Sometimes yes, sometimes no. If you can, you will keep your peace, if not, you will spit poison outside, and your action will have consequences because it obeys the cause-effect law.
In life, you may be disappointed, irritated, or it may be a lot of stress, a lot of slow energy. But if you let go of that thought, the feeling and the action will disappear and you can keep your peace. Because you really don’t want to identify with the thought and become entangled in this whole process.
If you know who you are, if you know Silence is the answer, it will be much easier to let go because you know that the answer you are looking for is not outside.
And if you know you’ve exaggerated, you say, “I’m sorry, I exaggerated,” and you try to remove the vibration of separation.
At a certain level, there is nothing to let go of. Life happens, and at that moment, if you are awake, conscious, things are going well, but other times it seems that things have to be said and done in a certain way.
When you start to see yourself, to be aware of your actions and reactions, you realize that you never knew how to communicate, how to relate, because very few of us have learned true communication in the relationship with our parents.
You understand that you are not really as great as you thought and you strive to communicate in a way that removes the separation, that brings light, honesty, flow.
Then, you reach much more refined levels of letting go. You are in meditation, then a thought appears and you just say “Let go”, and the thought disappears. If you’re chanting a mantra and a thought appears, you return to the mantra, and the thought disappears.
You let it go and don’t get into its story and into the feelings about that story, you just keep staying Here, in Presence and Bliss.
Or you ask, “Who would I be without this story?” And if you know the Being, you know that you are free of the story.
And, seeing how good it feels to let go, you start to wonder, “What do I really want?”
You’ve seen The Map*, you know the fast, slow, and light energy, and you know that all you want is to stay in the light.
If you’re going to shoot an arrow with a bow, letting go is like asking yourself “Am I reaching my target now? Is this giving me what I really need?”
Most of the time the answer is no. And if the answer is yes, then you simply shoot the arrow.
Usually, joy brings more joy. And if there is no joy, then follow the actions that bring you joy. But many times, they can be the exact opposite of what the mind wants at that moment.
Knowing The Map, which transcends the desires of the mind, brings you peace, bliss, happiness. And you let go of the stories in your mind, you follow your heart and you reach your goal.
You begin to realize the limitations of the rules you live by, the limitations of the mind about the possibilities of life, about what might exist or might happen to you or the world.
If you let go of these stories, you step into the unknown, where there is already peace and joy.
It is so good when you can let go of all the stories and act with joy and abundance, knowing that you are already safe!
When you let go, you unite.
When you stop, you unite.
When you understand, you unite.
One of the things that make you feel most separated is the other: your life partner, your family, your children, your work, the leaders, the world, everything which is different from what you call “me”.
To unite means to let go, to stay Here, in Presence.
Your state is 100% your responsibility, no one will give it to you. So, God forces you to forgive and be forgiven.
You have to talk to the other without judgment because, in fact, you talk to yourself, you have to open up and say what you have to say in a way that creates connection and flow.
You need to see that the others say certain things because they don’t know their true nature, they don’t know that they are already loved, seen, and safe, and they behave in a paradoxical way to get this.
From here, from the clarity, you realize that sometimes you behave the same way as the others and you start to see yourself in them and you stop judging them. When you get this perspective, humbleness appears, you understand them completely and you understand they act from inside of a story.
You understand that everyone wants one thing:
Love.
And you know now that you have the opportunity to go directly into the love you already are and, in that way, you take responsibility for communication, for the other, for the whole world.
Jesus did that, and you are invited to do the same, so you can live Here in bliss, in Heaven on Earth.
The last thing you want to do is judge another person.
This doesn’t mean that you don’t see clearly the actions, deeds, and words of people, that you cannot disagree with them, or even fight against them.
But you don’t judge.
Because you want to unite all the time, everywhere.
Let the stories go, keep the bliss and the flow, unite, take care of things, ask yourself, “Who am I without this story?”
It is Unity, it is a blessing, everything is already forgiven, stay in the flow, let it go.
